Día 10 en Valladolid: Los Guisantes con Bacon

Chón cooked the bacon in a pan without any olive oil because bacon produces it´s own fat. In a separate pot, she steamed the peas with a little water, then stirred in the cooked bacon at the end. The cauliflower was leftover from yesterday.
 

El Lomo de Cerdo con Pepino
 
This was pork back, preseasoned with oregano--quite tasty. The cucumbers (pepino) were drizzled with
olive oil (aceite de oliva) and vinegar (vinagre de vino blanco).
 

Barra de Pan
 
Chón bought a new type of baguette today that was much tastier and better quality than our typical bread. She went shopping at a bigger supermarket today, so they probably have a wider selection.
