We started off with a flavorful broth with some pasta.

La Berenjena Rellena de Carne
 
We had delicious stuffed eggplant (berenjena) for our second course. Chón boiled the eggplant first, made the meat filling (ground beef, salsa de tomate, onions, garlic, green bell pepper, paprika) and finished the stuffed eggplants in the oven to melt the cheese. Rellena means filled.
