Noche 18 en Valladolid: La Melurza Frita

 La Merluza Están Freyendo
 
Chón dipped the hake fillets (similar to cod in taste and color) in flour (harina) and beaten egg (huevo batido) and then fried them in olive oil (aceite de oliva).
 
La Merluza con Ensalada
 This melurza was "sin espinas" (without fish bones).  Fried fish and salad go so well together. Chón´s fried fish is very delicate and not heavy and overly greasy like most fried fish.

 
La Nectarina con Yogur de Limón
 
This nectarine was muy jugosa y delicioso (juicy and delicious).  Chón bought new yogurts today that weren´t educolorado (artificially sweetened).  She accidentally bought artificially sweetened yogurts last week which had a distinct aspartame aftertaste.
 
I noticed the yogurt was creamier and read the tiny font on the label indicating that it was 2.2% desnatada (skimmed). Chón usually buys 0%, which happen to be more fluffy and less creamy than 0%yogurt in the U.S.
