Albóndigas con Salsa y Queso
We finished Chón´s delicious meatballs and sauce at dinner. Me encanta esta salsa!
Chón surprised us with queso oveja, sheep´s cheese. Sheep´s milk comes mainly from central and northern Spain. Manchego is the famous sheep´s cheese from the Castilla-La Mancha region (south of Madrid). Valladolid is in the Castilla-Léon region (north of Madrid) and isn´t known for a specific sheep´s cheese. I love any type of cheese, and layered a slice of tomato with the delicious cheese on top of a rebanada de pan (slice of bread). Perfecto!
