This gray and rainy summer day was ideal for reading a book in Eva's Cafe, a coffee shop in Old Town with a cozy charm and excellent coffee.
Chicago is home to several coffee roasters, two of which are featured as House Blends at Eva's: Intelligentsia and Passion House. Both roasters promote sustainable practices and work closely with their coffee farmers.
Eva's Cafe is 2.7 miles & a 60 minute scenic walk from the Art Institute of Chicago in The Loop.
Bonus points for unique mugs—some had owl faces!
The rustic-elegance is fitting for its location in Old Town.
The Intelligentsia Eva's Blend is citrusy and bright, while the Passion House Eva's Blend is berry and smooth (my preference).
