Día 12 en Valladolid: Filete de Salmón

 Las Judías Verdes con Ajo y Pimentón
 
Chón boiled the green beans (las judías verdes) for quite a while, then mixed in some fried garlic (ajo) and pimentón (paprika). 

Filete Salmón con Orégano y una Ensalada
 
Loved this! This was my first time having a salmon steak.  Chon sprinkled the salmon with salt and oregano and then microwaved the fillets. She didn´t use any olive oil because salmon is naturally fatty.
 
The tomatoes in the salad were very flavorful, especially compared to the pale tomatoes we have had the last 2 days.
 

La Sandía
 
The weather isn´t getting any cooler. It´s been in the high 90s thus far. Yay for refreshing watermelon!
